Authentic Connection Screen Acting School Holiday Workshop
With Dr Kylie Loveday
Great screen acting is about connection.
It’s easy for young actors to fall into “acting” — pushing emotions, playing a caricature or trying to show the audience what their character is feeling.
But the most compelling screen performances happen when an actor feels real, present and genuinely connected to the person in front of them.
In this workshop, young actors will explore practical connection exercises designed to help them get out of their heads, become more present and create more authentic, truthful performances on camera.
Young actors benefit from Kylie’s unique blend of psychological expertise and performance coaching. She helps each young artist develop their craft while feeling safe, supported and free to create, maximising their individual strengths both personally and professionally.
